Application of crystal oscillator in photovoltaic inverter

Since photovoltaics have become an important member of the new energy track, inverters have become one of the sub-tracks that the market pays attention to.

Inverter, the name is very high-end equipment, its function is to convert direct current (such as batteries, storage batteries, etc.) into constant frequency and constant voltage or alternating current (such as the commonly used 220V alternating current), which is the heart of the solar photovoltaic power generation system .
PV inverter
Photovoltaic inverter products are mainly divided into four categories: centralized inverters, distributed inverters, string inverters, and micro inverters. According to their different characteristics, they correspond to different application scenarios, and the crystal oscillator types and package sizes used are also very different.

In the selection of crystal oscillators, it is necessary to meet these two technical characteristics of photovoltaic inverters:

①Long life

The design life of a photovoltaic power generation system is generally about 20 years, so the aging rate of the crystal oscillator must be low, so as to ensure that the design life of the photovoltaic inverter needs to reach a high level.

②High reliability

The failure of the photovoltaic inverter will lead to the shutdown of the photovoltaic system, which will directly lead to the loss of power generation. The high reliability of the crystal oscillator is a key factor affecting the normal operation of the photovoltaic inverter.

At present, the commonly used package size of photovoltaic inverters is 3225, and the commonly used frequency points are 20MHz, 16MHz, 32.768KHz, etc.
